NEWARK, DE (May 29, 2013)– Motech Americas LLC today announced it will participate in the 16th Annual Congressional Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency EXPO + Forum on Wednesday, June 12th in Washington, D.C. MOTECH’s presence at this highly focused event will provide an opportunity to share its voice about ensuring and promoting the security of renewable energy in the U.S., and reinforcing the U.S. need to maintain a leading role in the manufacturing of solar products. The event will be attended by influential policy makers, government representatives and a host of responsible groups interested in newer energy solutions. Motech Americas works to provide a source of clean and renewable energy with U.S. manufacturing, and strives to create a sustainable environment for future generations.
According to MOTECH’s Director of Marketing, Sharon O’Shea, “We see this as an opportunity to share our expertise with policy makers about the critical need for results-driven attention to renewable energy. For that reason, we strongly applaud the efforts of the Coalition for urging policy makers to attend, and for creating a dialogue toward improving environmental safety and health standards. We believe that a concerted educational effort, backed by scientific data and combined with facts on environmental and economic trends, will support renewable energy as a growing solution.”
The event, sponsored by the U.S. Sustainable Energy Coalition, features cooperation among members of the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Caucuses. This year’s EXPO will bring together nearly fifty sustainable energy industry trade associations, government agencies, businesses, and energy policy research organizations. EXPO programs will showcase the status and near-term potential of several renewable energy options, such as biofuels/biomass, geothermal, hydropower, solar, and wind, as well as energy efficiency technologies including fuel cells, and CHP.
