Motech Industries Inc. (TWO: 6244TW) (“Motech”), one of the leading solar cell manufacturers in the world, announces a breakthrough of efficiency in its LEO solar cell product series. Motech’s 6 inch mono-crystalline LEO cell is now able to reach an average conversion efficiency of above 19.3% with highest efficiency over 19.50%. The 6 inch multi-crystalline LEO cell is able to reach an average conversion efficiency of over 17.7% with the highest efficiency over 18%. Module manufacturers will be able to increase power output to over 265W and 260W while using the LEO mono-crystalline and multi-crystalline cells with 60 cells configuration. Motech continues to effectively improve the conversion efficiency through the innovation of its R&D and manufacturing team in process optimization and material enhancement. The LEO solar cell product series has passed all necessary quality and reliability testing and is now in commercial production.
